In warmer months you can paddle a canoe, hike, or fish from the resort’s lakeside location. Golf can also be enjoyed nearby. St. Sauveur, only 12 miles from the resort, is known for its many European-style boutiques and restaurants. Along Rue Principale you’ll be surrounded by various boutiques, outdoor cafes and terraces decorated with bright awnings and flowers. Dishes such as tourtieres, onion soup and apple pie grace many of the local menus. On a day trip to Montreal travellers can explore the Olympic Stadium, the botanical garden, the amusement park complex on Ile St. Helene and the Montreal Casino.
